Just ordered. In my opinion this will improve the ruggedness of the printer. I've had issues in the past with the motor spinning/moving in the clamp so this should eliminate the possibility of that happening.

Anyone mod the box yet?... It was nice to be able to flip the fans out of the way to clean or clear out the extruder but there just isnt enough wire length for them to move them.

I did but I just made it smaller really, doesn't give more wire length.

Having just done a very annoying and needless repair, I'd like to suggest that the box needs to be bigger. There's just not enough room in there for the wires and the connectors. I left one of the connectors outside and the rest are still crammed in tightly. There's no limit on space above or to the right, so there's no need for the space to be so tight. What happened to me is that the one of the crimps on the motor connector wasn't tight enough, and cramming all the wires in caused it to pop out. I don't have a crimp tool or spare pins for that type of connector (I don't even know what kind of connector it is), so it was a painful solder job to get the wire back on the pin. The motor connector ends up being in the very middle of the box, and blocks the main path from the front to the back. I think that raising the box to the height of the motor, and putting a wall around the connector hole to protect the connector and keep stress off of it would help a lot.

Here you go... keep in mind the tolerances might be a little tight for the plugs cutouts so a bit of filing might be needed.
