na no paint. paint burns so would defeat the 1/2 the point i think. paint will stick to it though no problem.

I have a spool of it, so I will definitely have to give it a try. Especially as my last drive design with the inductive sensor mount needs to have the mount moved back 2mm so that the sensor will trigger at Y-min. Maybe I can put a Sharpie on it to make it look prettier than the natural color.

If you printed a drive with the ePC, I suppose that means that you didn't run into any particular problems using it as support material?

same to report here. Snaps away quite nicely.

Jules, to get EPC over to the Dark Side, you could color it with marker instead of paint. Marker over transparent filament looks pretty cool when done right.

Hmmmmmmmm! Hmmmmmmmm! 8-)

Yes,....yes, the idea much merit has......

(You know, that reminds me......I also saw a Pinterest thing where they were dyeing printed objects with RIT dye - that would be worth experimenting with too, maybe.) Guess i'd better buy me some ePC. :D

if your speaking of epc then its pretty easy to print with. just extrude at 270 with no bed fan. ooze controls should be pretty similar to pla.
