Will this probe work for the auto-levelling?

when you say a while, does that mean you eventually fixed it, or you "fixed" it with a G92? I'm assuming the G92 should be inserted just before the nozzle purge, or are you putting it straight after your G28?

I eventually moved away from mesh leveling, which I'll resume once I tire of my several MIC6 sheets.

I put it after the nozzle purge ... my auto-leveling worked by inserting repetitive G29 S1 commands into the queue after the previous one had finished, so doing the G92 too early would mess it up.
