I meant to say extrusion width, but I think you answered my question.

So the E3D V6 is really peaking my interest at the moment.

I've even found a distributor that will allow me to select a 24V version. Correct me if I'm wrong, but would this mean, "plug-n-modify-firmware-n-play"?

For the most part yes. If your ordering a 24v heater then be sure you get a 12v fan. Usually if you order 24v then the fan will be as well. You dont want that. You would also need to print my e3dv6 filament drive setup or someone elses. The v3b heater cartridge is standard size and will slide right into the e3d heater block as well so you can save the new one for down the road. Only thing extr you need to order are some molex connectors to put on the fan, heat and thermistor wires so it plugs into the m2. Makergear has them or you can order from newark, mouser or wherever. There is a thread here somewhere with the part #s

I would really give the makergear v4 a look . It is a plug and play kit and I have not had one single problem with it since Install. Heats extremely fast and nozzle and filament changes are a breeze.

Bummer... I'm Southeast (Rochester)

I was going to ask if I could come over and see the V4 extruder in action. :geek:
