Question on 24v Upgrade Voltage Problem

Post by jprochnow » Sat Apr 09, 2016 11:58 pm

I was working on upgrading my 24v upgrade and I sat my arm on the end belt bearing and got shocked. So I broke out my multimeter. When the usb is plugged into my computer I'm getting a voltage between the pulley and the power supply. When I unplug the usb there is no voltage. Anyone have an idea?

I have checked all my connections and I don't see anything wrong.

Hopefully someone might know what's going on. I know the new electronics case the rambo is installed down with 4 metal 4-40 screws.

I'm really confused about this. I have triple checked everything and I can't find it.

Strange....could it have been static? Just walked over, touched mine, and got zapped.

Do you have a multimeter handy? I checked on the pulley and a screw on the top of the power supply. Its definitely a constant voltage.

Ok the plot thickens. When I print my laptop is plugged into the wall. If I unplug the laptop from the wall the voltage disappears.
