** Pre-orders for MIC6 beds ** (FOR SALE NOW)

Post by insta » Mon Apr 11, 2016 6:40 pm

I"m taking the reins from jimc on MIC6 beds ... I also have the technology. Jimc is slowing down on making them due to more important things coming up.

Priced somewhere between his "good-buddy" pricing and "arms-length buddy" pricing, the sheets are $70/each bead-blasted, or $65/each smooth. They'll be a sliver under 8" wide, a sliver under 10" long (so they'll fit anyone's machine despite small variances in our beds), edges knocked down, and bead-blasted. Don't PM me directly, please post here. If you're a new user, post anyway and I'll approve it. I will let the thread run for two weeks (until the 25th), then order materials, make them, and ship everything. Expected shipping date is 5/2.

Please let me know if you want a smooth bed (for PEI/BuildTak) or bead-blasted (for hairspray), and how many you are interested in. I need at least 6 before I'll move forward.

edit: parts being ordered, start setting aside your PayPal

You're not taking over his current orders are you? (I'd had a MIC6 sent to him from McMaster a couple weeks back cause he said he had a couple others to do.)

Put me down for one! I'm planning to continue using an Ultem sheet with it for the foreseeable future, are there any downsides to having it beaded (in case I change my mind down the road) and using the non-beaded side with the sheet?

@insta, could you put me down for two instead of just the one? Picking up one for another M2 user.

Do we still have the option of having one side blasted and the other side smooth?

That's what they are. Only one side is getting blasted, the other stays a mirror finish.
