 too bad MakerGear didn't start using these thermistors, what, 24 months ago?

The actual good news is this might allow people who want to run the E3D hotend to wholesale use the MakerGear heater and thermistor cartridges.

So how much of a pain would it be to try and get the firmware working with one of the 3 in 1 out e3d ends?

RAMBo already supports 2 extruders on the board, and there's breakout pins for 3 more if you run a little sub-board with Pololu A4988 drivers. The firmware already supports up to 8 extruders, I think. I don't see why not?
