MIC6 preorder number 2 *READY FOR SHIPPING*
Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *READY FOR SHIPPING*
Finally done, and ready to ship.
I have 20 plates with PEI attached, and 1 plate without PEI attached which is covered in a hardened goo that needs to be sanded off. The goo-plate will be cheaper if anybody is interested in it, otherwise i'll eventually refurbish it. None are sandblasted, none will be.
Do not buy the full-size sandblasted ones -- they are out of stock. It's a really clunky experience through PayPal so just don't do it.
You two aussies -- work out shipping between yourselves. I'll send one of you two plates and an envelope ready to slap a local postal label onto.

I think I may have done paypal... :/
I did whatever was the default, which I think was paypal. I can request a refund or whatever and reorder another way?

Lol you had one job
Realistically though no amount of shipping trickery makes it under $109.50 or whatever. We'll wait for the other order and coordinate from there.

OK, bait-and-switch. I've been personally printing on roughed-up PEI for awhile, and it works great. I've just recently started printing on un-roughed PEI, and it works even better.
All the pieces still have the film on top and bottom (the aluminum and PEI). If I leave the film on and you peel it, you'll get glossy prints. If I peel the film and scuff it, you'll get matte prints. Either will stick unbelievably well. Leaving the film on will help protect the surface from scratches in shipping.
I'll default the orders so far to being scuffed, UNLESS you PM me and say to leave the film on so it's glossy. Future orders will be film-on for glossy.

Insta,
No PM ability on my account... yet.
I ordered 2 early today (shipping to GA). Please leave the film on both.
Thanks.

Side question - whats the best bed stop "upgrade" to hold the PEI / MIC6?
I don't think the standard rubber tabs can hold the new plate, or am I wrong?

I use these plates on both early-model and RevE spiders. You have to back the levelling screws all the way out and loosen the little clippytabs a bit (then redo your leveling), but it'll work.crazyg0od33 wrote:Side question - whats the best bed stop "upgrade" to hold the PEI / MIC6?

Got one with PEI!
Re: MIC6 preorder number 2 *READY FOR SHIPPING*
I'm batching up my shipping because it's a pain in the ass to do it 1 by 1. Everything goes out Friday, USPS. Everybody should get theirs Monday/Tuesday!
