Hi insta,
Just got my MIC6 with PEI. Looks impressive. This is probably a stupid question. The PEI seems to be layered with a sheet of plastic of some kind on the surface. Am I supposed to peel it off before use or is it part of the PEI? Also, do you have a link to the corner mount stl file (I believe you designed) that would fit the MIC6 onto the Rev6 bed? Is it OK to clean the surface with acetone for ABS prints (I assume it is, otherwise it probably wouldn't be safe to print ABS on it)?
Thanks for getting it out so fast. Can't wait to try it out.

Assuming you bought a "new" plate and not one of the "used" ones, both sides should have a protective film on them. The film is on there pretty tight, but pulling back with steady, moderate force should remove them with no issues.
I believe the corner bracket you are looking for can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1217210
As for cleaning the PEI sheet, isopropyl alcohol is typically used. Be careful using acetone as it will attack the PEI over time. You can maybe get away with using it on a cool bed, but I would highly recommend against it on a warm bed. Here's a compatibility chart: http://sevierlab.vet.cornell.edu/resour ... Detail.pdf

Thanks atomic_peach for the answers. Glad I asked about acetone compatibility. So, it sounds like ABS juice is no, no for PEI then.
