I was in a place where I couldn't play the sound while I watched it. It did look pretty neat, but if it isn't too hard to remember, what problems with the current extruder did he think his version solved?

tension adjustment. ease of disassembly and better filament path i think

I can't ignore my worn-out extruder any longer, I'm starting to get jams from the filament path eroding away too much. Was thinking about trying the Ben Heck extruder to see if it really is better than the MG or not. Anyone that's used it for awhile got experiences to share?

there is a slightly modified version of the current makergear extruder on thingyvers that was altered to make printing tpu easier.. That along with a new drive gear make all the difference in the world with TPU and other soft filament.
