M2 Z Knob

I'm trying to replace Z knob on my M2 (2012 model), but I can't get it out after unscrewed the hex screw. How do you remove Z knob? Also there are no STL file of it, where can I download it? Thanks.

Not sure on why you can't remove it. That's a metal collar if yours is like mine. Is it possible that the threads are galled and stuck in the collar? Can you clamp the Z and twist the know?

The little hex screw has been removed completely from the knob, so it's not stuck. By looking at the STL model, the knob should just come right out. But it's not even loose, I can lift up front end of M2 by pulling on the knob. I wonder if RevE knob is different than the original M2. I'll heat it up with heat gun and see how it goes.
