It is too bad that the 3D printing community in general does not seem to know about this.

funny i was talking to will about that at the 3d print show. years ago no one knew about pet. i see a big difference though in the past 6 mos. its catching on now that the price has dropped. more and more people are using it. its getting bigger for sure. it will take some time though for people to get off abs.

rob in your previous post about opaque getting weak...the only time i have seen a difference is with madesolid pet+. all the others, esun, colorfabb, etc, i have seen no difference in strength with the opaques compared to translucents. my black sample was far too small to make any real judgement but it seemed to print as well or better than the others. i did test layer bonding and it was just as good.

What can be used to successfully glue petg parts together?

Any tips for support removal or support settings with PETG? The support holds on so much more than with ABS. On small parts with thin sections, I'm breaking my prints as I'm pulling the support out.

You can just use my profiles as it has PETG.

Thank you RSilvers for the suggestion and for providing your awesome profile for all of us. That was the first thing I though of, was to compare what I used to your settings. The only difference that we had for support was "horizontal offset". Mine was at 0.5mm and yours at 0.6mm. I was also running my V4 at 255°C. I will try it at 250°C, like it is in your profile.

And thanks again for sharing those with all of us!

I don't think 250 vs 255 will make a difference.

Are you using 0.2mm layers with the same number of upper layer skipping?

If you are talking about the "vertical separation layers" then yes. I'm using two.
