no but sounds cool. the big thing i look at with taulmans stuff since its mostly types of nylon is the shrinkage. more shrink is more warp and nylon warps like crazy. it says the 910 has a shrink similar to pet which is very little. .4-.5%

when you try it out give us a report. take note of the extrusion. keep measuring it to see what the variance is. i have had very few good rolls from taulman. always makes good on it though.

I use quite a bit of Taulman 645 for structural prototypes and once I heard about the 910, I ordered it. I received my roll of Taulman 910 last night and could not wait to try it. Simple truth, I like it a lot so far. A couple things I noticed right off:

1. Less bed adhesion problems due to less shrink. Elmer's glue stick works well. Zero edge lifting. The parts do not warp after removing from bed either. I have had 645 warp a bit after removal from bed.
2. Parts are more accurate due to less shrink. With 645, I would have to adjust the I.D. of parts in CAD to hit a critical dimension, not with the 910. My test part showed OD and ID within .002in. of actual CAD.
3. Stiffness - no question Taulman hit a home run here. This material is incredibly stiff, amazing difference compared to 645. And they are doing it without any fillers that would affect nozzle wear. I have always looked for a material that more closely mimics glass filled nylon and this 910 gets closer than any I have tried thus far.
4. Processes just like 645 after dialing in filament diameter and extrusion multiplier for 910.

I have another part building now and will update as to how well support removal works.

My machine - 1 year old M2 with V3B. Custom filament drive housing and filament tension wheel of my own design for best filament path support for ninja flex. I have a single V4 here, but the V3B works so well, I have not made the change yet.

That's a pretty stunning endorsement. I've been pretty happy with 645 so far for things that just HadToBeStrong(tm). The warping of 618 and Bridge is annoying, 645 had less, but 910 has even less than that? Awesome :D

I have some 910 but it is a sample and 2mm and not normal size. I hear the Tritan is good.

anyone that has the 910....how consistent is the extrusion? is the size good and even?

I don't expect to end up liking any Nylon.

I got pretty good results with this in the past. It is only $17 per KG delivered.

910 definitely has less warping than 645, at least with the parts I have built here. Support removal was easy using 2 dense support layers at 75%. As far as extrusion consistency, well it is Taulman, so it does vary :roll: . I'm using 1.69 average filament diameter with the spool I have as it varies from 1.63 to 1.74. However, it looks like Taulman learned their lesson to not let it run over 1.8 or 1.85 as it then locks up in the filament guide. I had a couple of spools of 645 that were 1.83 to 1.89 and Taulman replaced those. Even with the filament diameter variances on this roll of 910, I have to say my initial tests are very positive for the parts I do. The part I just finished had critical I.D. dimensions of .745" (it ran at .743") and 1.130" (it ran at 1.126") without any changes to the CAD before creating the stl. With 618 or 645, I always have to adjust the CAD for critical I.D. diameters as it may run .01"-.012" undersize depending on the diameter. Wow is this stuff stiff, like injection molded, glass-filled nylon stiff. Me Likey.
