Has anyone tried Eastman's new AM1800 Amphora filament? Taulman is selling it as "n-vent".
This is Eastman's press release: http://www.eastman.com/Markets/3D_Print ... ducts.aspx
And here's a zealous description:

Just ordered a spool from Taulman but it'll be a good month before I try it.

Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
Re: Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
its just private labeled colorfabb xt for taulman. its nothing new. you can just order that from printed solid right now.
Re: Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
Okay. Is the concensus that it's not worth much attention now that PETG and ePC is available?
Re: Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
Well colorfabb xt is petg and a very nice material. Its a little stiffer than esum and alot more colors. Its just
More expensive than esun so i really dont bother with it.

OH, okay, I didn't realize they're more or less the same thing, that's a bit of a revelation.
Re: Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
If anyone is curious, I'm finding that Taulman n-vent seems to be better with bridging than eSun PETG. This picture doesn't show it all that well but it's a pretty big difference.

Yeah, that looks like it bridges significantly better. (If you have time, you should do a write-up on that one for the "insta's Filaments that Work" thread.)
Re: Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent

Re: Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
