those are the starts and stops of each extrusion line. #1 align the starts and stops on the print so it makes a seam rather than spreading them all over the model. you can do that in the layer tab. #2, if the blob ends up being excessive then you need to tune your retraction settings in the ooze control box on the extruder tab. the blob is usually what oozes out during the jump from end to beginning of the next line. slowly add some coasting and a little more retraction. you can also add a tiny bit of wipe in there. you just have to do test prints and tune the settings for your spool of material.
