Esun Black support removal

Post by TheRyanRanch » Sun Jan 24, 2016 6:30 pm

Hope everyone is having a great 2016 !

I have a question about ESun PETG in Black, I like the way it prints, comes out pretty clean, but removing the "support material" is not so fun.... Sticky, Sticky, Sticky

any suggestions on support settings or ?

That's the downside with PETG, support likes to stick. Try increasing the support top separation to two layers.

either that or lower the temp. you need to find the temp that gives you the layer bonding you need for the part but also not too much layer bonding that the supports have an insane bond strength. its a balancing act.
