Are there any heat resistance plastics, that an M2 V4 extruder can handle, that would work as a mounting bracket for the GPS in my boat?
Is it even possible to find plastic filament that can create parts that could handle the heat?

As setting out in the sun heat or engine heat? I don't know why ABS or PETG (more flexible) would not work. Both would tend to melt at the 400 Deg F range.

The GPS would be mounted on top of the helm just under my windshield.
The boat is in a dry rack storage and covered when not in use, but when we have it out on the river it can get pretty hot here in Florida.

PETG all the way. don't even think about ABS, the humidity would crumble it in a month.

the humidity would crumble it in a month.

you do realize they make water pipes out of abs

i do agree though, petg or epc. both super strong. epc is just more rigid.

do they now? what caused abs to crubble so badly then? UV?

the replacement extruder bracket that was printed for me literally crumbled after a summer of no use, so i could only imagine it was humidity or UV, either would be in high supply for this application.
