Hatchbox PETG

Post by zemlin » Tue May 10, 2016 4:09 am

I've been through a spool of black hatchbox PETG, and am about half-way through a spool of orange.
Been running it with basically the same settings I used for eSun, except the Hatchbox runs a little hotter. I've been at 255C for the eSun, and I run 265C for the Hatchbox.
It's run well. Lately I've been running PETG with the .5mm nozzle and .3-.35mm layers. Getting super clean prints and great part strength. Yes, the ridges are pretty easy to see, but they are very pretty ridges.

Printing at 3600 mm/min - these parts have Outline Underspeed set to 50%.

This first image is the top end of a 160mm tall piece with a 15mm x 29mm foot print - printed on glass/kapton at 85C.
