Clear ABS issues

Post by Raddiver » Sat Jun 18, 2016 2:39 am

So far i've run through a spool of purple hatchbox, yellow hatchbox and green (the brand escapes me at the moment) just fine.
but this clear....is it the brand (generic) of clear abs that is difficult to work with or is clear in general difficult?
In my extremely limited time of doing this I've found black and clear to be the most difficult to work with so far. I also hear rumblings of white being in this category as well.

there are subtle differences between colors but since you are using different brands, that is the biggest factor. every brand will print differently. in every plastic type i almost always just print black. i have no issues with blacks at all.

Clear is harder to use because it's missing nearly all of one of A/B/S (don't remember which). I'm thinking its the butadiene (which isn't transparent in natural form)
