Larger ePC Prints with Enclosure?

Post by jhaupt » Fri Jul 08, 2016 10:38 pm

I'm wondering if anyone here has tried large ePC (or other PC) with an enclosure.

Even if I get perfect adhesion with ePC (or other PC) with my PEI bed at 105C, larger parts stress-relieve as soon as they're removed and are no longer flat. It may be enclosure time.

How long are you waiting to remove them? 'Cause I have had that problem with large flat based (PLA) prints unless I leave it attached to the bed until it comes to room temp. (Sometimes overnight.)

Ed said you have to give the filament time to settle into shape, because it wants to warp, and i've see no reason to disbelieve it.

Increasing the infill percentage sometimes helps too. :)
