Printing with abs and Petg

Post by theboz1419 » Thu Sep 08, 2016 6:26 pm

Just wanted to know if it's OK to use the same hot end for Abs and Petg. They both use about the same temperatures. I have two hot ends, but atm im trying to not have to buy another just to try Petg.

I swap back and forth between ABS and PETG without issue. I just do a few 100mm extrusions with the new material.

Yep. Similar temps should be okay.

A little cleaning filament in between couldn't hurt though.
