Has anyone tried any of the new Dupont filaments? They seem to have some really good characteristics: http://www.dupont.com/products-and-serv ... ty_2017_10

If they really want to sell thsi stuff, they need to have some comparison charts showing how it behaves relative to ABS, PLA, & other common filaments. Reading a data sheet full of specs doesn't really help much without a baseline to compare it to. I don't happen to carry the "Tensile Stress at Yield" for standard filaments around in my head...

Then you're not their target audience ;)

I suspect it's more a case of sloppy marketing. They are used to selling huge quantities of resin to major industrial manufacturers. 3D printing filament is unlikely to ever make big inroads with their regular customers.

It reminds me of the joke about what would happen if IBM's marketing people worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken. You get ad slogans like: "hot dead bird".

Or even better, we'd each get our share of a 150 ton chicken.
