Heat bed and extruder not working

Hi Experts of the forum,
I am new to 3D printing and building electronics in general so please bear with my greenhorn status :D

Over the last week I have assembled my MakerGear M2 and today I attempted to run the machine, as I felt as it was assembled properly and sufficiently to the standards of the instructions. So far I have been able to manipulate the directional motors (x,y,and z) with the "Home All" button but the heat bed, the extruder motor, and the extruder fans are all non operational. When I prompt the extruder to heat up to 190c for PLA printing the temperature does not change although the program does not deny my command. When I attempt to set the heat bed to 50c for PLA printing, the program quickly denies my command to set the temperature and remains at ambient temp.

From what I can tell all the parts have been assembled correctly, is there something I am missing?

Thanks in advance for the help!

PS: I am using the recommended program, Simplify3d

I would recheck all of your electrical connections. Especially for the bed and hot end !

If you go to the Machine Control Panel > Communication tab, can you copy+paste some of what it's saying when you're trying to do these manual commands?

Yep, MINTEMP triggered.

Something is preventing your primary extruder from being read (T: 0, B: 17). Start checking connections until you find the loose or broken wire.

Thanks for all the help,

I ended up finding a couple wires had been connected backwards. After a couple hours of trial and error I printed the Tallhex with great success. Now I just have to fine tune everything and learn the ways of modelling.

Cheers!
