M2 Kits are now available for pre-order.

We also just announced a new referral program MakerGear Rewards in General Discussion. There will be a $50 gift card for kit referrals. The Rewards program is experimental...if you like it and it works, we'll keep it.

Thank you,
Rick

Are the assembly instructions online?
I have had a quick look but I couldn't locate anything.

Hi Rick,

How long will the offer to buy a kit be available?

Kits should be available at least through November.

@Rick.....Just a heads up - I just posted about the M2 kits being available again over on the Glowforge forum - some of them seem like the type of people who might enjoy building their own machine. For the referral, I told them to mention my name in the comments. (I'm guessing the $50 gift card goes to them, correct? If not, I need to assign the card over to them, cause I told them they could have it as an incentive, if they aren't the ones who are supposed to get it.)

Hi Jules - the gift card goes to the referrer (you in this case). You can forward it to the person if you do not want to keep it - the gift "card" is just an email with a code.

Well, let me know if you get any hits - there have been about 30-40 people click the link I left so far, so they might be thinking it over for a Christmas gift. (I might have implied what a fabulous gift it would make for the "Do-It-Yourself, hard-to-shop-for" husband types.)
