Re: Dual extruder parts
So, for your O-gauge train set, you're doing the scenery to be "Cleveland in Summer", huh? You're gonna need a few hundred of those!
Very nice!

Alright your cone looks really good. I just printed one and it looks very bad what settings did you use?Rocketdog wrote:It's not much but it's a start
I have a big stringing pile on the left and right of my cone.
Re: Dual extruder parts
If you used S3d, did you do the shift/ align object command to put both models over each other? Have you printed anything that worked to verify the head offset?
Re: Dual extruder parts
Yes I did the shift align and that worked fine.Rocketdog wrote:If you used S3d, did you do the shift/ align object command to put both models over each other? Have you printed anything that worked to verify the head offset?
I have not verified the head offset yet.
Re: Dual extruder parts
Did it print the cone and two piles or just two piles
Re: Dual extruder parts
Yes the cone printed. The piles on the right and left were like artifacts that maybe retraction could solve.
I thought maybe you had setup some retraction.

Re: Dual extruder parts
I used the retract code that's on the makergear dual wiki in the slicing paragraph. Just put the code in the scripts tab in S3d.
Re: Dual extruder parts
I think I need a litte more retraction and a little less extrusion
