Check out the "M2 tips" thread in the tips forum, which gathers together a lot of helpful links. I should update it sometime, it's been a while, but the extrusion calibration stuff is linked from there as well.

For example, what are "extrusion calibration" mentioned by jsc? and how does one go about doing such tests? having a pinned post that mentions the test you want to go through on your machine would be super-useful.
