Octopi with Dual Extruder Mod

I just got my dual extruder upgrade. I see where Simplify 3D v3.0 will handle dual extruders to do the slicing and generate the gcode. I normally use a Raspberry Pi with Octopi/Octoprint software to run the printer. Has anyone used this with the dual extruder upgrade? Will it process the gcode? Is there a better software combination? I mostly want to use the second extruder for PLV supports. Any suggestions/hints greatly appreciated.
