Slicer problems

Post by tiyos1017 » Wed Aug 24, 2016 7:00 am

Ok, so this is probably a really stupid question, but I'm new :D . I recently upgraded to a dual extruder, but when I try to slice models with support structure, it's does everything in one extruder. I went into my settings(using slic3r), and it says extruder 1 for infill, and extruder 2 for supports and rafts. But my printer specifies my extruders as 0 and 1, not 1 and 2. Slic3r will not let me use the name extruder 0.

As I said, probably stupid question.

I'm not familiar enough with Slic3r to answer that. It might be that you can just test to see which number controls which nozzle and then you will have to use those naming conventions. (Might have to use 1 and 2 instead of 0 and 1.)
