Ordered a dual upgrade a few days ago. What is the current expected lead time?

I notice that this is now greyed out on the upgrades page. I just found out about it today (I only bought my printer a month or two ago). Will this be offered again? Why was in only a limited production run? Was that just a test for a public release? If so, when will that public release be?
