3D Printing FANUC Robot

Post by JohnnyRobot » Fri Feb 20, 2015 11:13 pm

Just thought I'd share this with everyone.

Some guys from our Midwest office put this system together. I wish they would've asked me, I would have made a much larger print bed! :P The robot is able to change the orientation of the extruder so it can print on different surfaces of the part.

Seems like a overly large and complicated way to 3d print however changing to orientation of the print head seems interesting and could be useful. I guess the hard part there is setting up slicing software to print on different planes for the same model. Definately a different aproach to the standard 3d printer.
