Whoa! Thanks a bunch! Been needing a good pair for a while, but hadn't wanted to pay over $100 for one. :D

The ones from harbor freight are ok but the quality of the iGaging are on a different level completely I wouldn't trade them for any other brand I've used.

I have a Mitutoyo I spent so good $$$ on years ago and it's been worth every penny. I Recently bought one of the HF ones just to use at work for rough dimensions but man are they gritty as hell and not very accurate.... not worth the $20 I spent. Just remember when it comes to tools..... You get what you pay for.

I have found these to be accurate and cheaply priced.

man I am just waiting for this thread to honeypot some new-registration spammers

I use the Harbor Freight ones, although I think I got them free with a big order from vxb.com. It goes through batteries constantly :(

This is an entertaining, if irreverent, review of cheap Chinese calipers vs Mitutoyo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvszAb0Y0Ec
