LED tea lights come to mind as being what I've seen other people use on projects, but you appear to have already found a solution that is much smaller than that.

Once long ago I used to use grain-of-rice bulbs for lighted model projects, but the LEDs, even if they are a bit bigger, are oh-so-much more convenient with their built-in batteries. Still, your size is always going to be limited by the battery if you do it that way. As long as you can tolerate wiring, it can be as small as you need. . .

yeah u was trying to avoid the wiring thing this is a quick model solution for competition it wont last long and is not made to be given to the client so I don't want to make a system that will stay there but something i can put in there and remove to use it on next project

but i appreciate the advice ^_^ the more way i learn the better

There are balloon lights that are smaller than the LED tea lights, but they look larger than what you are using there:

This kit shows what I would think would work.

I dont have one at my desk, but I bet they are about .200" across?

I know thats a kit but shows what led I was thinking of. I just did a search on bread board led and found that
