The M3-ID vs the M2 Rev E

Post by AndyNav » Sun Oct 22, 2017 7:59 pm

I printed a test print on a M3-ID and an M2 at the same time with the same g-code file. Here are some pictures for the results The differences are generally slight except when it comes to the finer details. The cooling fans are just the stock fans for each machine.

Nozzle: 0.35mm
Slicer: Simplify3D
Material: MakerGear PLA
Temps: Nozzle 210°c, Bed 70°c
Layer height: 0.10mm

Thanks for the photo shoot!

Next we need a comparison to an M2 with the extruder fans re-built in the style of the M3. . . Time to work on some M2 upgrade designs. . .
