The M3-ID vs the M2 Rev E

Post by AndyNav » Sun Oct 22, 2017 7:59 pm

I printed a test print on a M3-ID and an M2 at the same time with the same g-code file. Here are some pictures for the results https://imgur.com/a/TplT2. The differences are generally slight except when it comes to the finer details. The cooling fans are just the stock fans for each machine.

Nozzle: 0.35mm
Slicer: Simplify3D
Material: MakerGear PLA
Temps: Nozzle 210°c, Bed 70°c
Layer height: 0.10mm

Thanks for the photo shoot!

Next we need a comparison to an M2 with the extruder fans re-built in the style of the M3. . . Time to work on some M2 upgrade designs. . .
