benefits of M3-ID vs M2

Post by spatterfree » Tue Feb 06, 2018 4:09 pm

ok, here is a video of the M3-ID in duplication mode. which is basically the right head mimicking the left. isn't that how the M2 dual works? i never had an M2, but not sure what benefit i have doing it that way vs dual with M2.

The dual nozzles on the M2Dual are 31mm apart, so any duplication printing you could do would have to fit within that window. It's an extremely narrow window, done to try and maximize the printable X area on a fixed-carriage.
