Dual color printed container that ships with M3-ID

Post by Q*bert » Tue May 01, 2018 10:52 pm

Would MakerGear be willing to share the model or g-code for the black and orange screw-lid container that ships with the M3-ID?

Unlike the M2 parts I don't think they are sharing anything to do with the M3... we've tried asking several times for the STL of the new fan design but our requests seem to just be ignored here... you might have better luck contacting them directly. :?

I guess just for the record, it's worth ending this forum thread with the link to the github site for the M3 parts, now that it is has been made public (although that happened a month ago and I've been busy doing other things and didn't notice). The knurled box can be found here:

https://github.com/MakerGear/M3/tree/ma ... nurled_Box

It doesn't help that the MakerGear link to the github site from the front page "Resources"->"Make Your Own Gear (github)" points to the M2 subdirectory of the MakerGear github site, rather than the top-level directory. Seems to me that the "Make Your Own Gear (github)" link should be pointing to https://github.com/MakerGear. Also MakerGear should set their github icon to the MakerGear corporate logo instead of the default github random low-res image.
