I was using slic3r though, which has things like 'adaptive infill' (to do a single fat infill bead), since it's dual material support is a little better / easier to use than Simplify3D's. I've contacted the person who sent me the model to see if they have a better quality of the file available. Thanks for trying!
(I think it's a card-reader of some sort, hence the long slot in the part. That's what required dual-extrusion support).
