Yeah,unfortunately we just have to work around that - most digital calipers just can't accurately measure tolerances this small (without having purchased a professional $200+ pair). Mine are still pretty squidgy, and they cost me $85. (Still not too happy about that. :evil: ) You can take an average or just make sure one side comes out to 2.0 mm. It's going to be close enough.

I think your Z-Offset cube of Z-0.23 has achieved perfection, (even to my standards :) ), but when you take this a lot larger with your case print, it might be a little too much gap, so you could use Z-0.24 and get it squished down a little bit more, particularly if you like the surface on it better. (It's harder to tell from a picture, than when you have it in hand, and you're the one who has to be pleased with it. ;) )

Post a pic of your final case so we can see the difference. :D
Final Case! (I may print one more with a -.23 just to see)...This came out much better. The only thing I noticed was a loose strand on the very edge of one of the halves. Otherwise the surface has improved! Thank you for all the guidance!!
