Just cleared a nasty clog, here's a good tool

Tonight I cleared a nasty clog from my M2 hot end. I ended up taking the hot end out of the machine, heating it up and using a small hex wrench to push through the clog. I used a pretty specialized tool to hold the hot end while working on it that others may be interested in, it's a clamp used to disassemble pens I turn on the lathe. It's a vice grip with special padded jaws: http://www.pennstateind.com/store/PKDIS ... odpage=1PK. Now of course I didn't clamp and lock that onto the plastic hot end - that would damage it. I clamped the jaws and then used the adjusting knob to tighten it gently but firmly. It worked very well.
