Recommendation of PLA filament brands
Recommendation of PLA filament brands
Hi, im about to finish the roll of pla that came with the m2, and need to buy more, what brand is proven to work well with the m2? Have anyone tried Matterhackers pla?, i wanted to buy the makergear brand but the color is limited.

i see you live in savannah. i lived there for a few years back when i was in the army stationed at ft stewart. that was 93-95. for the pla, makergear stuff is really good and a great deal for the quality but if they dont have the color you want then here are a few you can try. all good quality made in usa stuff. i have used abs from all these guys and it was great.

Hi jccdesign,
You wouldn't happen to have an STL of a sofa? I"ve been looking for one, I rep for a manufacturer and have been looking for a nice print to put peoples name on it so they can put it on their desk, instead of the usual name plaque. So I can give as holiday gifts.

I have no experience yet with filaments or printing for that matter. But looking at my notes from all the research I've been doing on the M2 lately I've seen Octave Filament mentioned a few times as working well with the M2. Again I have no personal experience yet but it's something to look into anyway.
