It turned out great!
After a few tries I ended up with a Z-offset of 0.1mm and extrusion multiplier 0.86, with most other settings right where you had them Jim!

This got me to the desired 0.42mm wall on the thin wall cube.

Good to hear. It can be tough when you dont know exactly what all the slicer settings are doing and how they all work together. You can get things all out if whack real quick. Sometimes the settings can be a bit confusing and they arent really doing what you think they are.....as you found out. Of course it doesnt help that s3d doesnt have a manual explaining any of that.
