I'm wondering about vibration from the machine that transfers into the table. Just curious how you guys have yours set up.
My table is screwed into the wall with small braces that I made and I have a heavy amplifier on the table as well. The table is on carpet in a second floor room.

Re: How is your M2 mounted?
jereywolf,
You should have no problems with that whatsoever. It's when you put the M2 on a sheet metal cart with wheels that it gets loud or shaky. I have mine on my mom's antique walnut desk with a 1/4 glass top, and it's exceedingly quiet and stable.
The desk has three drawers on the right, and a compartment on the left side with a roll-out/fold-up typewriter mount. I've considered bolting the docking station for the notebook to the typewriter stand; just haven't gotten around to it yet. Right now it's sitting on the slide-out board that is above the top drawer. If I get it mounted and get the USB and power cables routed neatly, I'll snag a photo and post. One issue with the typewriter board bing on the left is that expansion to the right for a mouse table is not possible...
But for your setup, jereywolf: No worries, dude!

Re: How is your M2 mounted?
Just got mine sitting on a built-in cabinet in the office. It walks a bit sometimes.
Re: How is your M2 mounted?
I'll grab a photo of mine once I clean up the area somewhat, and my last M2 arrives ...

Re: How is your M2 mounted?
Here's mine. Bought a nice solid desk from Craigslist. Works perfect, no vibrations or wobbles.
