Uploading attachments?

Ok I'm past thinking I'm getting old but how does one upload jpegs and code and STLs and stuff like that?

Look just below where you type in your message. The is a section under there that says "upload attachment".

Unfortunately it seems to reject files with different suffixes like .fff, .factory, .stl etc.

The workaround (from Will) is to put it in a zip file and post that.

I just tried manually changing a suffix (from .obj to .zip in my case) and attaching it here. Seems to work. But then you'd have to be clear that the downloader needs to manually change the suffix back.
