I have been having some serious issues with tall, skinny prints snapping off the build plate. Normally this isn't an issue, but it seems like the cold weather is chilling the glass. The warm plate is toasty, but the glass feels lukewarm. I'm going to use my super high-strength hairspray on the bed for now, but I'd prefer to fix the issue and switch back to the normal strength (and much cheaper) hairspray.

So the question is, how hot can I run the HBP to help with adhesion? I'm using a legacy 12 v M2.

You, long ago, really want to upgrade to a 24v HBP.

It's a non-negligible change in terms of performance. I can get my beds to 110C without insulation, and I've taken them to 125C occasionally for polycarbonate. I can hit 125C in about half an hour, again without insulation, in a drafty basement.
