Just bought a new M2 and this was sitting at the bottom of the printer when I unboxed it. Anybody know what it is?

Rubber coated fiber Glass insulation to cover the hot end.

That's handy.....hang on to that if there's already one on the hotend. (You got a free spare.)

(I got a free screw in mine.)

Anybody know what this is?
