Buildtak Usage Questions

Recently started using a BuildTak surface on my MIC6 plate, and so far I really like the results.

I have only used it with PETG so far, and have been running the bed at 90*.

I wanted to see if anyone could comment on some temps they have been successful with. I'm of the opinion I should lower temps a bit.

I've ruined about 5 sheets of BuildTak running too hot and too close with ABS. I ran 85C ...

That seems to be the right temp for ABS. I never got HIPS to consistently stick. PLA sticks like woah at 45C.

Insta - anything on PETG ?

I normally on the MIC6 run 90C, but tonight I'm trying something a bit different, going to drop down to 75C. So far it looks like one of the best prints I've had of this item that I've printed multiples of time and time again.

So far I am a big fan of this stuff.

I've run through about 10 spools of PET-G on a 1/4" plate with Buildtak (regular 6061, not Mic-6, shouldn't matter though) at 60C with no issues. I'm a big fan of this stuff, been working for me very well.

Thank you Rara.

I'm probably going to lower my temps then. The print last night with PETG at 75C was a total success.
