So as many know I have an M2 at home and at work. At home I only print PETG, at work I only print PLA. I haven't had time to use the M2 at work and now getting back into it, I'm having a terrible time with getting the PLA to extrude consistently.

Makergear Translucent Green PLA
220 C
0.2mm Height 0.4mm Width.
everything is calibrated and leveled using the standard calibration cube.

the filament will Jam anywhere from 1mm print height to 2cm print height. I have tried every attempt to get the tension set right and I still get feed problems. Periodically i will feel the extruder and I can tell the feed gear is skipping while printing.

what am I missing here?

How old is the PLA? Maybe got a little too "humidified" and got too stiff? (Try temp at 213 on the MakerGear stuff.)

its about 6 months old, but our school isn't exactly dehumidified. I can't imagine that a lower temp would have the filament feed better...

No but at 220 for a long period it might have baked some filament into the nozzle and started to reduce the hole. (That's a bit warm for PLA.) Did you check the nozzle for carbon buildup?

I havent had the time to pull it apart. I imagine i may need to drill out the brass tube. its a bit frustrating because I have all of the tools at home, not here.

Take a look at the heat break and make sure you didn't torque or bend it accidentally while removing the nozzle. It is very easy to do and can cause intermittent jams like you have described.
