If I need to ask on the simplify forum I will, but...
I loaded a STL file that I made into S3d. I can use my mouse to scale and rotate (spin) my box. How do I get it to rotate on the other axis? I want to make my box flip top to bottom. RIght now the program sets up the solid bottom on the top. I want the solid bottom on the bottom.

Re: rotation with simplify
Double click on the model, or on it's name in the box on the left of the screen. That brings up a dialog where you can manually set the translation, scale and rotation for each axis.
The only "gotcha" with it is if you do this and save it in a factory file, when you re-load the factory file you'll have the model where you left it, but all the transformations will be zeroed out. That can be confusing. But it won't touch your original model, so you can always reload that if you need to.

Re: rotation with simplify
thanks. I figured it out myself, but the tip you gave with the factory file is something I did not consider.
I appreciate the help.
