I couldn't seem to find the pitch of the z-stop screw anywhere, so I pulled out the bolt and measured it. Here is a little table I made. Hopefully it will help somebody else. I have already used it a couple of times.
Z-stop bolt 4mm x 0.7mm
0.7 mm/turn
rotation.....inches
1 turn........0.028"
½ turn.......0.014"
1/6 turn.....0.005"
1/12 turn...0.002"
Note that I rounded to the nearest thou, so the addition doesn't work out exactly. Just a little contribution for all of the information others have provided on this forum.
