Hello there everybody.
I'm close to deciding on a 3d printer. I'm tired of small ones, and want something consistent and high-quality (both in construction and printing). I'm looking at a lot, and have interest in the Makergear M2, and was looking at the Lulz Taz 6.
The Taz 6 looks like it has fans on both sides of the nozzle, cooling a bit more evenly. The M2 only has one fan. Does that make a big difference?
Any general thoughts on the differences between the two? I'm open, though I do like the M2 a lot.
Thanks for any help/advice you can provide!
(Mack, if you're reading this, I met you at MOXI the other day. You were printing my membership cards!).
Cheers,
Doug

I don't see an issue with single fans vs dual fans. You could always design a dual fan setup and print it! There are also a number of fan ducts that direct the air from the fan directly to the nozzle. Like this one:

More fans = more noise. You also add another point of failure.

In all honesty its just a fan setup. If you look on Thingiverse and this forum you will see a variety of fan setups.
I can't think of the user here who has an incredibly robust fan setup. I wouldn't let that be the deciding factor.
